Our weathered building stands tall as one of Truckee's fabled structures.
Truckee was born – after a destructive fire broke out in 1868, demolishing over 50 structures, the former Colburn’s Station was rebuilt as Truckee, named after the infamous Washoe Chief Trokay.
The Loft Barber Shop found its way into the community a few many years later. A classic barber craft establishment proudly providing the timeless art of barbering to the Truckee population. Owner Bob Avis and crew have delivered the best barber services this side of the Truckee River at a fair price. Each patron experiences a historical atmosphere when entering the shop, along with a tasteful cut, smile and conversation.
